ORRA, Vancouver-based indie pop band, hums narratives of early adulthood beneath swelling synthesizers and punchy drums. ORRA blends the danceable grooves of ABBA with the edge of alt-pop artists like Lorde. The three-piece band consists of Sarah Orr (vocals, keys), Alan Kane (bass), and Cam McGregor (drums). ORRA has performed at iconic Vancouver venues like RedGate, the Cobalt Cabaret, and Green Auto. ORRA has been featured in blogs such as Indie Underrated and CanadianBeats, receiving praise for addictive melodies and danceable arrangements. ORRA’s tracks have been played on stations like Radio Western, KEXP-FM Seattle, and Kootenay Co-Op Radio. Over the past year, ORRA’s Spotify streams have increased by 202%.

Most recently, ORRA was awarded the Demo Recording Program grant from Creative BC. ORRA was also named a top 10 finalist for the Play MPE Caster Emerge program, and is currently being promoted to radio across North America via MTR.
